SPEAKER PROFILE Terri Haywood is a gifted teacher and writer who has held diverse leadership roles in both her personal and professional life. Her passion for children and single young adults guided her to serve as a Sunday School teacher, children’s worship leader, outreach evangelist, prayer team leader and editor of the Singles newsletter at The Church on the Way. She currently attends NewSong Church in Los Angeles, CA, where she co-leads a New Mothers Ministry, oversees the Baptism Ministry and participates in the Children’s Ministry. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom in August 2003, Terri worked six years at Nestle USA, the world’s largest food company. She was the Manager of Executive Training and Development for the top managers and senior leaders of the company. During her tenure, she also served as the Communication Manager for the Beverage Division, where she was responsible for executive speech writing, media relations and employee communications. Prior to joining Nestle, Terri was the Manager of Media and Talent Relations for Columbia TriStar Television working on shows such as “Seinfeld” and “Mad About You.” She also spent seven years at Hughes Aircraft Company as a Senior Writer. Terri received a B.A. degree in English from UCLA and an M.A. degree in Mass Communication from California State University, Northridge. She is also certified in 11 different training assessment tools. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband Kent and their three children, Kennedy (6), Trinity (4) and Taylor (2). |
